The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to handle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay if want one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it comes into contact with a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it and moves read more forward.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong like low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can also clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

Although these features are useful but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's slightly more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The central control panel is a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences.
