The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is setup you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your area to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.
This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with the next models.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. We think it's a nice claim but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. And its mopping system is superior as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than the vibrating pads.
It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a big deal if you want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered ones, create minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and move on whenever it comes across one.
What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something is in need of attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.
You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's some items that need to be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could wish for. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are great but they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category which could make it a little more expensive than what some homeowners require.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it to its base station.
